Between the teabag people and the modern Texas secessionists, I've had about as much deliberate stupidity as I can tolerate. Burka writes about "Mythic Texas" and hits a nerve on something that pisses me off about Texas: the incredible number of people here who try to live out larger-than-life fantasies based on stuff they saw in movies as kids. Any state that elects morons like Ricardo has no particular claim to superiority.
