The old expression "Fuck 'em if they can't take a joke" definitely applies to this Korman guy, who probably has all kinds of fantasies about Willow's mom and hopes this token gesture will attract her attention and maybe even get him a phone call from her, thanking him for his patriotism.
For the record: I didn't think the Letterman joke was particularly hilarious, and as a rule, I think the children of politicians should be left out of the discussion. But in this case, Sarah's the one who dragged her brood out of the shadows to use as stage props in her "Wasilla Wondermom" production last fall. So to hell with it.
