Dave and Barry and late evening talk

The president was a guest on David Letterman's CBS talkfest tonight. It was a perfect venue for Obama, with a friendly host and audience and no rude behavior allowed. For some reason, Obama just doesn't scare me. Everything he said, speaking of course in generalities suitable for the occasion, made a lot of sense to me --- on the economy, health care reform, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The bottom line: I'm nowhere near as worried about Obama as I am about the lunatics on the other side who hate him so much.
