A few days ago, I wrote about the warm feeling of inclusion that I experienced when I received a census questionnaire from the RNC, signed by Michael Steele himself. It was a truly special moment to suddenly realize my opinions were important, to the extent that winning political strategies would be developed based upon them.
This morning, I was checking out the online newspapers as I always do, and I came across this column by John Kelso in the Austin American Statesman. I've read his writing a few times in the past, enough to get a sense that when it comes to supporting the GOP, Kelso is about as Republican as I am. So what's the fucking deal ? Is the GOP really trying to solicit the opinions of important writers like Kelso and me ? Or is their data base just fucked up like everything else about them ?
