Paul Burka on education issues

I found an interesting article by Paul Burka which causes me to think that Rick Perry, his campaign donors who make up the Board of Regents, and the so-called Texas Public Policy Foundation will eventually turn back the clock and restore TAMU to its former status as the best little cow college in the state. Who needs another top-flight academic institution when it's a lot cheaper to turn the joint into a glorified vocational school ?
