Radical political cult established ca. 2009 in reaction to Presidential election of 2008, extremist faction of Republican Party 2010-2016. Membership: Predominantly rural, Western, or Southern dominionists, aging white anti-government conservatives, and secessionists. Originally promoted as a bi-partisan effort to establish controls on spending by federal government, by 2011 the cult's agenda was almost exclusively focused on seizing control of and radicalizing the Republican Party.
