This past week has been one loss after another -- on the football field, in an OR at the medical center, and in voting stations across the country. Speaking for myself, I've been disoriented since Tuesday night, and I'm looking for a little sensible, intelligent analysis to help me get my thinking straightened out, after being blindsided by all my incorrect assumptions.
What went wrong, and can it be fixed?
Maybe elections should be based on who won the most votes. That would have saved us from having to cope with the guy who held the "Worst President Ever" title until this week, when it was passed to a fat asshole who'll be much, much worse.
