The world would look a lot brighter today if ten percent of the Republicans in the current Congress were patriotic enough to stand up for America and oppose Don Cornholio. That's one out of ten Republicans in the House of Representatives (24) and Senate (5). Just one out of ten, and we could probably save the country even if the other ninety percent stayed rotten.
Maybe when working people with employer-provided health insurance discover they're liable to lose their coverage, they'll start raising hell, and a few Republicans will be forced to reconsider their loyalty to Lord Lardass.
Added 5:43 PM Monday 15 May: Is there anything Don Cornholio might do that would be bad enough to provoke a response from GOP in Congress? Apparently not.
