Please accept his insincere apology.

Today, Donny Covfefe did a five-minute appearance on TV during which he read a speech that began with the usual bragging about how the national economy is booming as a result of his so-called precedency (sic). Eventually, he read for a few seconds about how racist violence is bad. He even made a specific reference to Nazis, the KKK, and white supremacists. It was a rote performance (to put it politely), and he might as well have had a sign around his neck that said, "They made me read this crap."

And the last time I checked, Steve Bannon, Sebastian Gorka and Stephen Miller were still roaming freely around the White House and planning their next move.

Score-keeping update: According to the latest report from Gallup Poll,  it's Disapprove with a big lead over Approve, 61 percent to 34 percent.

As his approval rating shrinks, Donny will desperately cling to the loyalty of the sheep who are still in the flock. At the moment, the white supremacy extremists are one group he knows he can rely on. I expect him to start passing out free lollipops to those bottom-feeders.

Politicus USA has a different take on Donny's speech.

The Nazis know he was just bullshitting
