An editorial in the Houston Chronicle criticizes indicted felon/Texas AG Ken Paxton for funneling 500,000 taxpayer dollars to 21 so-called "expert witnesses" for their testimony in federal court. It turns out the "experts" were nothing but anti-abortion activists who weren't qualified to testify as experts, and ended up being ignored by the court. GOP politicians always look for interesting new ways to transfer public tax revenue to their amigos in the private sector.
