Where Donnie Duhmp is concerned, there's a consistent inevitability that's predictable. As soon as Duhmp realizes the authorities are closing in on him, he starts cutting ties with anyone who aided and abetted his latest malfeasance, and quickly blames his accomplices for committing the crimes without his knowledge.
Given his habitual blame-dodging, it's no surprise that Duhmp wants to pin the responsibility for criminal activity HE led on some guy he barely met, John Eastman. Maybe Eastman will finally wise up and call Liz Cheney to arrange a meeting.
Why are two Republicans on the House select committee investigating January 6th, but not a single Trumplickan? Well, by god, don't blame Duhmp for that. (More same old, same old).
My preference? Let's call what he did "treason" instead of "seditious conspiracy" - especially if there's a case for treason waiting to be made.
Those of us who paid attention to the news in November-December 2020 and January 2021 already know that Trumplickans in Congress were supporting (or participating in) Duhmp's plot to overturn the presidential election. What we don't know for sure are specific details (names and total numbers), and exactly how deeply individual members were involved. But be patient...
