The End

The End

And in the end, the love you take
Is equal to the love you make.

Have you ever had the experience of a song melody running through your head, over and over, and you keep humming it to yourself ? Well, "The End" by The Beatles started playing in my mind yesterday and has kept it up all day today. Not a song really, but a fragment of one, at the close of the famous Abbey Road album. I think what triggered it was when I added the element at the bottom of the page.

Added 10:06 am on 02/13/08: In the preceding post, I commented on the death of Roy Scheider. As I think back on 2007, there were a lot of famous people who died, as there are every year. The ones that stick in my mind are Molly Ivins, Kurt Vonnegut Jr, Ira Levin, Norman Mailer, and Jerry Falwell. Among those five, I'd have to say the score is 4-1 in favor of the bad guys. In this contest, the more points you score, the further behind you get... the object is to hope the other side scores more points.
