Nice work if you can get it

There are probably people who've been comatose since 2001. Everyone else knows that Jorge, Cheney and the rest of the gang have spent the last seven years up to their elbows in shit that is unethical, immoral, and possibly illegal. One of the ringleaders, Karl Rove, was issued a subpoena by a House Judiciary subcommittee that wanted his testimony regarding White House political pressure on the Justice Department to selectively prosecute Democrats.

Karl decided he didn't feel like testifying, but offered to talk about a few specific matters off the record and not under oath. NO transcripts and NO sworn testimony. What this tells me is that Karl has broken the law and he knows it. He can't testify truthfully without incriminating himself, and he can't lie under oath without committing perjury. Either way, his lawyers start getting richer. So he basically tells Congress GFY. I would've thought that tossing a congressional subpoena in the wastebasket would be a crime in itself, but apparently it's not. Karl has a great job. Pays real well, and none of the rules apply to him.

Todd Bentley is another guy with a great job. He holds revival meetings, and can cure cancer and raise the dead. God picked him out of the lineup to perform the miracles. This guy's fat and covered with tattoos, looks more like a biker than a faith healer, and sometimes has to kick or punch people to cure them. No sweat; they love him for it. What a great job.
