Hey, Republicans, pump this.

Obama suggested that Americans could get a little relief from high gasoline prices by making sure the tires on their vehicles were inflated to the proper pressure. Anyone who reads the weekly automotive section in their newspaper knows this is an excellent proposal, because the experts who write advice columns are always reminding us to do just that.

Republicans, constantly competing to come across as the most worthless asshole, have been ridiculing Obama for making this recommendation and protesting that it's not an energy policy.

Of course it isn't. A real energy policy would include billions of dollars in tax breaks for an industry that already has more billions than it can count. And so it goes.
