700,000,000,000

Sam's nephew G.W. had a hard time holding on to jobs. G.W. had tried his hand at several businesses and all had gone under. Even though he hadn't accomplished much in the business world, G.W. was friendly and carefree and a lot of people liked him. Everyone thought he had a great sense of humor. Sam liked the kid himself and since he was wealthy, decided to give G.W. a pocketful of his credit cards. He told G.W. to use the cards wisely to buy things he really needed while he was between jobs; Sam wanted to help the kid through a rough patch.

Pretty soon the credit card bills were piling up in Sam's mailbox, and Sam was stunned to discover that G.W. had exceeded the limit on all of them. The penalties and fees were adding up. Damn, Sam thought, I told that little bastard to be careful and he promised me he would.

Sam went over to G.W.'s place and asked to see all the stuff the kid had bought with Sam's credit cards. He was surprised when G.W. told him he really didn't have anything to show for the money he'd spent. Most of it had gone toward entertaining his friends and buying them expensive gifts.

G.W. got that sheepish look that comes over a child when he's caught doing something naughty. Sam couldn't stay mad at the kid; he was just so damned likeable. He pulled out his wallet and handed G.W. his Maxi-Platinum Mastercard.

"Here, kid. This'll keep you going for a while but be careful how you use it, okay ?"
