When I check a few conservative blogs, as I occasionally do, I realize I'm falling behind in my preparation for the coming apocalypse. I haven't bought any more guns, ammo, or bottled water. I haven't fortified my bedroom, either. I'll bet I'll live to regret this inattention to the omens, too; I'll be sorry, just wait and see.
It's a sign of the times that people who can't type, spell, or punctuate a sentence are making references to Atlas Shrugged in their message board comments. As if they've actually read the book. There should be a law requiring every yahoo trying to prove a point by citing Ayn Rand's writing to read it. All of it. Twice.
The eight years of Bush II were all about fear, and now it looks like the same people are trying to make the beginning of the Obama years about fear. Do they know any other tricks ? They're even rolling out Dick Cheney to stoke the bonfire, as if we needed any more of that dude. Same shit, different year.
