Sanity from Brooks

Every time I decide that all conservatives need to be locked up somewhere, David Brooks comes along with a column that reminds me not to overgeneralize about the worthlessness of conservatives. This one is the first I've seen concerning the failed airliner bombing that reasonably approximates my personal viewpoint on the topic.
