I decided not to waste time voting in the Republican primary on Tuesday. It turned out to be a wise decision, but because I skipped the election I wasn't aware of five ballot propositions that Republicans were voting on until this morning. It's ignorant shit like this that keeps me from giving serious consideration to joining the majority party in Texas and being on the winning side for a change. I'll bet the rightwing dumbasses who voted in favor of each proposal actually believed they were changing the law with their ballots.
On the brighter side, Don McLeroy was defeated in his race to hold his seat on the State Board of Education. McLeroy is one of those evangelunicals who are convinced the earth is only 6,000 years old. That alone is enough to disqualify him as a candidate for office.
