PRM Dreams

Although conservatives had probably been daydreaming about it much earlier, Karl Rove is the guy who gets credit for putting the goal of a Permanent Republican Majority in the media spotlight. The more I watch the Democrats and Republicans sparring over an increase in the debt ceiling, the more it looks to me as if the GOP has decided their best chance to destroy the Obama presidency and get PRM back on track is to create as much economic chaos as possible, then cash in when voters blame the whole mess on the Democrats next year.
