Apparently there are laws which will make it difficult to fire Dr. Anthony Fauci, so their remaining option is to try minimizing his influence by bad-mouthing him to the media. It beats admitting they haven't got a fucking clue.
There are better ways to approach the school reopening issue than what's being demanded by the malignant tumor in the White House. My thought is that we should ignore the noise coming from politicians worried about Dhump's reelection, and give professionals who understand the problems the time and resources they'll need to develop workarounds. Dhump created the mess, and his interference will only make things worse. He should've been planning in March for reopening schools in September instead of opening bars and bowling alleys in May.
Dhump claims that he personally created the greatest U.S. economy in history, and that only he has the ability to restore it. The big problem here is that so many people are still willing to fall for that shit. The question for Dhump is whether there are enough of them to get him past the 270 - vote marker in the Electoral College.
When the governor of Mississippi says that more people wearing masks in more places, more of the time will be helpful, things are moving in the right direction. A small step, but a necessary step.
Thanks to Juanita Jean for this link that allowed me to read a good Washington Post op-ed without being blocked by the damned paywall.
It looks like Dhump's criminal mob plans to round up all the data related to COVID-19 that's currently sent to CDC and consolidate it in another database, where it will presumably be either deleted or altered beyond recognition. In Covfefe reality, if the numbers aren't shown on TV, they don't exist. We can go from 200,000 cases of COVID to 20 in a matter of hours. Rule of thumb: If this is allowed to happen, multiply any numbers released by a factor of at least 150,000 to calculate an approximation of where things actually stand.
