It wasn't too long ago that Rep. Devin Nunes could be reasonably designated the most worthless piece of shit in Congress other than Louie Gohmert. Recently, he's slipped down the rankings a few spots since M. Greene and L. Boebert joined the club. Devin must sense that he's being pushed into the shadows because he's back on cable news shows bitching about right-wing crazies being investigated by congressional committees as domestic terrorists, like they were Muslims or something. As if that's not silly enough, he's whining about AOC making all the (R) people look bad by criticizing Rafael (Ted) Cruz, and turning the country against them.
Jacob Chansley, one of the most conspicuous participants in the January 6th armed insurrection against the government, is now seeking to testify at Cheez Doodle's second impeachment trial. This is something Democrats should consider, if for no other reason than to piss off Lindsey Graham. The facts indicate the riot at the Capitol was a Cheez Doodle operation all the way.
The best Americans aspire to be the best human beings they can be. The worst human beings aspire to be the next Cheez Doodle.
I've pissed away a couple of hours trying to catch up on the latest political news, and it's left me with one thought: Cheez Doodle's only real success was a TV reality show that allowed him to play the part of the man he wanted to be, instead of being who he really was. The TV character was liked by TV audiences, so it's not surprising that his single term as so-called precedent (sic) was virtually an extended version of the original show, with Cheezy playing the part of the most powerful man in the world as he imagined it, e.g., able to dominate the news for 24 hours with a two-sentence tweet.
Most of the people in the world who watched the show during its four-year run were delighted when it was cancelled in November, since all of the principal characters were repulsive. Cheezy is still living in his TV reality show world, and unfortunately, many (R)s have chosen to join him there. We'll have to move on without them.
