I read an article in the Houston Chronicle that sums up the sorry state of politics, government and the news media in this country. It's all about the Rickster's haircut and rugged good looks, and the advantages his personal appearance furnish him in his race to the presidency. When this kind of shit makes it into a newspaper, it's just discouraging. And sad. What makes it even worse is that there's probably not an incorrect word in the story, which helps to explain the leadership failures the United States has experienced over the last several decades.
