It's fairly common knowledge that Donny Guano decided last year that he was being too restricted by members of his staff like John Kelly, then decided to get rid of everyone except people who would only tell him what he wanted to hear. It's also common knowledge that Guano refuses to read detailed reports or sit through briefings on complex matters. Instead, he turns to Fox News and other right-wing media sources for information, then bases decisions on what he sees on TV or hears on the radio.
It's easy to see how he got his lazy ass into this predicament, but it's hard to see an easy way out of it for him. Actually, I expect he'll make matters worse for himself fairly soon.
